Introducing Richmond Julian

My dear college friends Fred and Jess had their little peanut Richie a little earlier than anyone anticipated. We all met at a year-long leadership program at the University of Minnesota and it's been great being a part of Fred and Jess' relationship from start to present. Richie came home just shy of one month after his very early birthday, and was really exciting about taking his picture taken; he was awake almost the entire time I was there. Richie just turned two months old and is plumping up nicely. Congrats to Fred and Jess and their expanding New Student Weekend family!

Baby Lucy

I'm really behind on my blogging, but I have lots of awesome stuff to post soon. In the mean time, for Mother's day I took pictures of a very crabby Baby Lucy. She was not interested in smiling for me AT ALL, but this picture did manage to squeeze tear or two out of Sara's eyes, so I'll consider the shoot a success.

I got to shoot this little guy because his very thoughtful aunt purchased a family session at a silent auction for the Eclectic Edge Ensemble, which I had donated on behalf of my friend Becky a few months back.  Just a simple preface: no, he's not my kid!  There was some confusion about my children status just around this time last year, especially when it comes to the toe-headed blue-eyed sort. 

For now Mom, Dad, John, Susan, you can just use your imagination :)
